These pages contain notes and photographs from several Tilman voyages. The pages for 1970 and 1971 in particular contain a number of photographs from my own collection, and will take a fair length of time to download. I've experimented with various forms of conversion from the original Kodachrome 24 transparencies, and with varying sizes of image, the latest set having been cut down and optimised using JASC PaintShop Pro and XAT Image Optimiser to try and maintain sufficient of the original colour and detail while being reasonably usable in terms of download speed.

Differences between individual browsers and PC configurations mean that it's impossible to get a perfect balance here - however, hopefully, the images currently shown on the site are worth the wait for the downloads!  Comments & constructive abuse are always welcome, so if you've any particular comments on the way the images are presented, please take the Feedback link on the left and let me know!
